Made Yarns is the dream of Val Buhagiar who opened her shop in Liscard, Wallasey, in 2007 and has gone on to create a true Aladdin's cave of wool, patterns and knitting accessories. There is everything you can imagine for Knitting, Crocheting and Cross Stitching. Val's passion for handicraft and for sharing ideas has created a one-stop shop for anyone wishing to indulge in these art forms.
Clubs and Workshops are held in our Liscard store where comfy sofas await with tea and biscuits on hand to make for a really enjoyable and informative experience.
At Made Yarns we work on an open door policy, so anytime you need help with a pattern or piece of Cross Stitch simply pop in to see us and we'll do our very best to help, even if you have not bought the pattern or yarn from us
We also offer a very popular 'put away' service. If you buy a specific yarn and are not sure how much you will need, we'll put aside some extra and keep it safe for you- just in case.
